Breeding Lionhead Rabbits

Are you perhaps interested in breeding them yourself? If this is the case you should start with gathering more information before you start. It depends on where you live but there are many lionhead clubs that can assist you with everything you need in order to start breeding. Besides clubs there is also the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) and the British Rabbit Council (BRC), their goal is to inform people who consider to start breeding as well as people who keep lionheads. It is definitely recommended to become a member of either the BRC and/or the ARBA because you will acquire a lot of knowledge and helpful tips and best practices of other breeders. Besides, if you are a member this is a sign of trustworthiness towards potential buyers.

Dwarf rabbits

The lionhead rabbit is considered to be a dwarf rabbit, this means that he or she belongs to the rabbit breeds that are somewhat smaller when compared to other breeds. Besides the Lionhead there are also other popular dwarf rabbits.
