Proud Home of the Louisiana Lionheads

Fleur-de-Lis specializes solely in Lionhead Rabbits, a new arrival to the States that has taken the country by storm.  My rabbitry's foundation was built upon excellence and the pursuit thereof.  All of my bunnies are pick-of-the-litter and come from the best, award-winning lines: Cimmaron, DJ, Lindler, Prideland, Rainnie, Satler, Savannah, Sousa, and Wetzel.  This being the case, you can be assured that your bunny will be an awesome example of the breed. If you have any questions or to be added to my waiting list, feel free to contact me.

All of my rabbits are pure-bred and have the double-maned gene!

Recent Show Wins

Fleur Madame Whittington is my pride and joy.  I look forward to showing her at Lionhead Nationals in May.  She's taken BOB at her first three shows including the Magnolia State Rabbit Show in Mississippi, the Acadiana Area Rabbit Club Show in Iowa, and the Louisiana Rabbit Breeder Association's State Show in Ruston.  The latter two shows were both held in Louisiana.

Cimmaron Beauregard has won Best Opposite Sex at every show he's ever attended.  Here, he is pictured with his awards in Louisiana shows, quite an accomplishment for such a two pound bunny.  Wins include the Acadiana Area Rabbit Club show in Breaux Bridge (2), the Louisiana State Show in Ruston, the Acadiana Area Rabbit Club show in Iowa, and the Southern University State Show in Baker.  As of March 2006, he's also a first time dad and a very proud papa!

This is Fleur Madame Razzy after her very first show in Alexandria, LA, where she took Best of Breed against some VERY stiff competition.  The first kit ever born at Fleur de Lis Rabbitry, she holds a very special place in my heart.

After winning Best of Breed in Minnesota, Cimmaron Adrianne came to live with me in Louisiana.  She took Best of Breed twice at her first show here.  Obviously Cajun Country agrees with her.  In this photo, she had just had her second litter days before.  What a way to bounce back, huh?

After an impressive placing at the ARBA national show, Cimmaron Tera too Best of Breed in the Southern University State show the day after arriving here.  The judge, who had seen over 40 lionheads on the show table, called another judge over and said, "Now that's what a Lionhead is supposed to look like!  It doesn't get better than that."  What an arrival Tera made!

Fleur Monsier Jean-Michel took BOB in youth with Colton and Wyatt Dupre' at the Magnolia State Show in Mississippi.  He also won Best of Variety at the Louisiana State Show in Ruston.

Fleur Monsier Banjo won Best of Breed in youth.  His new owners and breeder were soooo proud of this little guy.  In this photo, he's just about 6 weeks old, but you should see his mane now.  He was the talk of the show room floor!
